Opatija Mountaineering Society has been active for seventy years, during which it has brought together many enthusiasts keen to reveal the secrets of Mount Učka and Ćićarija. The society also takes care of maintaining 26 hiking trails on these mountains and is in charge of the Poklon mountain hut.
Recently declared the best mountaineering society in Croatia, the Opatija Mountaineering Society is perfect for everyone who wants to learn more about Mount Učka, the highest mountain in Istria and the Kvarner regions, which has been attracting groups of hikers ever since 1887.
