The novelty of this year's Opatija Time Travel is the Veprinac Ghost Tour, which is a guided tour of the Old Town in Veprinac dedicated to the folk beliefs of Istria and Kvarner. A licensed tourist guide will take visitors through the city, and costumed actors will embody supernatural beings such as shrews and jackals at various points and, in interaction with the guide and the audience, will revive the magical world believed in by the former inhabitants of this region for one evening. Veprinac Ghost Tour will be held in three dates in August - August 11 and 25, the tour will be in English and is free for visitors.
